La otra mitad de los Kinks inicio su carrera en solitario con la década de los ochenta, este es su tercer trabajo, rock álgido de furibundas guitarras. Pop y hard.

Música de Burt Bacharach y letras de Hal David. Con la intervención de Tom Jones, Dionne Warwick y Manfred Mann. El filme, original de 1.966, recibió una Oscar por su canción titular, "What´s new Pussycat?", interpretada por Tom Jones.

Editado originalmente en 1.982, justo antes del superéxito "Born in the U.S.A.". Es su sexto trabajo.

Producido por Ian Stanley.

Producen Jerry Wexler y Barry Beckett. Se grabó en las Bahamas en diciembre de 1.978, y su lanzamiento se retraso por el éxito que empezó a tener su primer disco. Fue la última aparición con la banda de David Knopfler.

Totalmente escrito, arreglado y producido por Dve Davies. Ni rastro de su hermano Ray en los créditos.
